Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Frey is an experienced designer with a keen eye for adding the finishing touches to a house, infusing it with the warm elements that truly make it feel like home.

Growing up as a Navy brat with many changes of residence, Beth watched her mother skillfully transform each house into a welcoming home. Inspired by this experience, Beth has made a career of helping her clients feel a sense of belonging in their living spaces.

But it wasn’t a straight path. After studying business in college, Beth worked as a Director of Catering at Marriott for 20 years. During this time, the early memories of her mother’s talent for creating nurturing spaces stayed with her. In 2003, she made the move to design, working at several design firms before eventually working with James Morgan at BellaDomus, where she became a Partner in the firm. After 20 years there, Beth opened Beth Frey | Design in 2023.

She now focuses on connecting with clients on a more personal level, assisting them in feeling at home in their new spaces or refining existing spaces to better reflect their personalities—working with what they have instead of a full renovation. What sets Beth apart is her approachability and commitment to making her services accessible, recognizing that not everyone has the desire, need or financial means for a complete overhaul of their home.

Away from her design business, Beth shares her life with husband Chris, with whom she has been married for 23 years, and their four cats. Together, they operate Frey Fine Books, a shared passion rooted in their upbringing surrounded by books and antiques, and a love for literature and timeless pieces.
